Bibi My Story PDF

One of our era’s most forceful and perceptive leaders, Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, reveals the tale of his family, his rise to power, and his unwavering dedication to protecting Israel and preserving its future in this expansive, emotional autobiography. Bibi and his close-knit brothers Yoni and Iddo were raised with a sense of purpose.

They recognized that the Jewish state was a hard-won and still vulnerable gift because they were nurtured in a family with a strongly Zionist background and were born in the wake of the Holocaust at the beginning of Israel’s independence. Before returning to their beloved home countries, all three attended high schools in the United States where they gained an appreciation for the country.

The brothers enlisted in the Israeli Defense Forces’ elite special forces unit known as “the Unit,” where Bibi was wounded at the age of twenty-two while in charge of a team that was rescuing hostages from a hijacked aircraft. Yoni was killed in Entebbe, Uganda, four years later, in 1976, while commanding his soldiers in one of the riskiest hostage-rescue missions in modern history. Bibi believed Yoni would never get over his loss; he became a legend. The longest-serving prime minister in Israel’s history, Bibi was still propelled into the global fight against terrorism by the legacy of Yoni and the insight of his great historian father.

Bibi masterfully combines his own personal experience with the epic history of Israel and the Jewish people in this biography. He describes his own transformation from soldier to statesman through a variety of illuminating anecdotes, offering a distinctive viewpoint on leadership, the complex geopolitics of the Middle East, and his successful efforts to free Israel’s economy, which helped turn it into a center of technological innovation for the entire world. Netanyahu provides vivid, in-depth, and enlightening stories of his sometimes tumultuous interactions and negotiations with Presidents Obama, Clinton, and Trump.

He explores the underbelly of high diplomacy with enlightening candor, discussing his battle against the extremist forces that pose a threat to Israel and the entire world as well as the pivotal moments that resulted in Israel’s historic 2020 peace deals with four Arab states. Writing from the heart and embracing controversy, Netanyahu gives a frank depiction of life, a family, and a country. This book will serve as a defining tribute to the importance of political commitment and individual fortitude because it is steely and humorous, fast-paced, and full of vigor.
