Overkill PDF Book Summary

The story of a former football star and his ex-wife as well as his sociopath was mesmerizing and disturbing at times. When sociopath Eban Clarke attacked Zach Bridger’s wife, she suffered an injury that ended her career. Although Rebecca didn’t die, she might have lived just as long if not for the machines that keep her alive. Zach’s hideaway home is visited by assistant DA Kate Lennon after Eban is released from prison.

She asks him for help in indicting Eban and putting him away for life. There is an underlying theme of euthanasia and parental wishes versus the former husband’s wishes that makes the plot a little convoluted at times. As well as the desires of the justice system, there are other factors to consider. Many characters seemed secondary at the beginning, but they played a major role in the end, such as Theo and Cal, Eban’s criminal partners.

In spite of the fact that Eban’s father is a scion of society, he tries to get him out of trouble whenever he runs into trouble, but his tendency towards cruelty and danger may be his downfall of him. Because Zach has settled in North Carolina while Rebecca is in the hospital in New Orleans, the book is set in a variety of locations, including North Carolina and New Orleans. The whole premise of the book saddened me because Rebecca is not an innocent victim.

Zach was left with the blame by the media and her family for her own destruction, she participated in her own destruction. This book had very well-developed characters that were easy to like or dislike, as the author intended. There were scenes in the movie that was somewhat unbelievable but very dramatic because the plot was so twisted. Romance and suspense are woven together in this suspense novel. In the end, all of the loose ends are tucked away, and everything concludes satisfactorily.

This novel is sure to please fans of the author and those who like a book that tells a good story while meandering down side paths. Assault and sexual abuse are triggers in the book, so readers should be aware of that before starting it. The villain in this story is one of the most easily hated. It is very hard to fight this kind of evil. The father is also a vengeful man. The story is one of duty and guilt. It is very difficult to be famous and feel so helpless in a situation like this one. Zack is a very honorable and caring man. The end is fast and exciting and satisfactory. Enjoy.
