Set Boundaries Find Peace PDF

The author of Set Boundaries, Find Peace, breaks down the what, why, and how of setting boundaries in a clear and compassionate manner, leaving you feeling confident, empowered, and prepared to tackle those tough conversations with strength, dignity, and compassion. This is the boundary bible. During this session, Nedra teaches us not only how to set healthy boundaries, but also how to be clear about our feelings and intentions when setting them. In order to find peace, one has to show up. Nedra has written the blueprint on how to not only show up but also do the work necessary to find peace.

As a result of reading this book, you will have a powerful road map for setting expectations and setting personal limits that will allow you to live your life in the safety, respect, and self-actualization you deserve. The purpose of this book is to provide you with a down-to-earth, practical guide on achieving your full potential and giving yourself the freedom you deserve by setting an appropriate boundary for your professional and personal life, your friendships, and your relationships. Eye-opening and thoroughly engaging.

In our debut issue, Tawwab offers a comprehensive guide on how to establish and understand interpersonal boundaries. The author identifies six types of boundaries – physical, sexual, intellectual, emotional, material, and time – and offers tips as to how to maintain personal boundaries in each one. Tawwab’s advice should be very appreciated by readers who follow him on social media, as well as those who find setting boundaries to be particularly challenging.

Throughout her book, Nedra Tawwab provides clarity and direction with grace and compassion on a topic that is often discussed but rarely integrated into everyday life. Set Boundaries, Find Peace is your next must-read if you want to shift your relationship with yourself and others and live in alignment with yourself. There is no doubt that Nedra Tawwab’s book on boundaries is the most comprehensive, relevant, and relatable guide to setting boundaries, speaking your needs, and living a more peaceful life that you can come across.

This book is very easy to read and understand. It is not intended for people who are coming from extremely traumatic situations or who have never been granted autonomy because of their background. As for me, I am not a therapist, but I do believe that combining this book (as well as a few others) with a good therapist may help some people take leaps and strides forward. There is no discussion in this book about people who threaten your well-being and how to handle more complex situations. If you are in such a situation, you should contact a professional who can help you deal with the situation.

As a result of that, I don’t think this book deserves any bad reviews because it isn’t as in-depth as the readers might have hoped. There are a few weak examples that the author uses to demonstrate the validity of her information (like Instagram polls instead of actual studies) but nothing so severe that I would doubt her qualifications for the job. While it may be easy to be skeptical when it comes to what the author has to say, most of the information you take in from self-help books often states a general set of rules for something’s well-being and depends on you to figure out how to apply the information you are given.
