The Wish Book PDF

Nicholas Sparks has written a wonderful book! So touching and so moving. Nicholas Sparks has done it again. When reading Nicholas Sparks’ books, there is always a tear in the reader’s eye. As a new reader of his books, prepare to absolutely cry if you have never read any of his books before. Not a tear or two but a downright cry. It was a quick and easy read, but the impact it had on me will last for quite some time. You won’t “enjoy” this book with a fuzzy, smiley feeling when you finish it because it is a very emotional, deep story.

You will be saddened and depressed. I recommend this book if you want to cry and experience heartache. This is not the kind of book you should read if you are looking for thrills, excitement, twists, and turns, or a book that will leave you shaking with fear. This is the go-to book for the Make-A-Wish foundation. There is always a deep, profound sadness with no happy ending. The results are the same with this book.

Maggie Dawes’ life was fascinating in this book. When she was sixteen, she became pregnant, and Catholicism prohibited abortion, so her parents sent her from Seattle to live with her aunt in North Carolina until her baby was born. As the story moves from her Aunt’s time and those of Bryce, her school tutor, to now, when she shares her story with Mark, the young man she hired to work in her New York photo gallery, the story flits between the past and the present. Readers are captivated by Maggie’s highs and lows, and I could not put the book down. There are a couple of heartbreaking endings in the last couple of chapters that caused me to cry from both happiness and sadness.

There is nothing more captivating and brilliant than “The Wish”. Nicholas Sparks is so very talented. It is exceptionally well written. After reading the first page, you won’t be able to put it down. This book touches on every emotion. There are unexpected surprises throughout the storyline, especially towards the end, and a sweet and emotional conclusion as you get lost in the characters and storyline.

It has everything in this book. A mother’s love and a son’s understanding. True love and the pain of loss. In this story, we learn how to grow up, learn how to find first love, and learn how to grow a family with strangers. The story is wonderful, and the way it was told is very creative. This story was incredible, and even though the ending was somewhat predictable, it brought everyone together. The ending was very unexpected. Those who enjoy good stories should check out this book and its author.

His ability to draw you into The Wish’s plot in an emotional and spellbinding way makes the book difficult to put down. The descriptive words he uses about Ocracoke make you imagine seagulls, smell the salt air, and hear the sound of the waves. As with all of his other books, I highly recommend this one! Yes, it is about cancer but the happy ending is worth reading. Thank you Nickolas Sparks for a great book.
