About the book
This was a thrilling and captivating ending to Johnny and Shannon’s story (even though I know they’ll show up in later books). The same issues and trigger warnings I had with the first book are still present with this one, but again, the issues are more forgivable when looking at the story as a whole. The character growth with Johnny and Shannon was tremendous. The trials they went through, the sacrifices they made, the people they became, and the path they have before them was such an awesome ride. I absolutely could not stop reading.
