This book embodies a common sense approach that is becoming more favored: increase protein intake and strength training for fitness and longevity. Since this book came out, other authors/podcasters have published basically the same ideas on both diet and exercise (Outlive and Forever Strong, to name two). The dietician I met with said basically the same thing as what is recommended in this book. It takes some thought to plan meals, but otherwise, this isn’t complicated. It stresses the importance of getting protein throughout the day and gives tips when dining out because that happens in real life.
